Ghosts still stalk along the shore though
evidence is seen no more of waves of fighting
men laid low on that foreign land. Waves
now have washed the shore line clean, where
blood ran red, staining beach and sand.
Though ghosts are mute, white crosses
mark what happened then, and the shock
behind that fateful day will seal
these names on the minds of men!
