Antelope Trails Vendors Organization

The Antelope Trails Vendors Organization (ATVO) is a non-profit organization whose charter is to provide employment opportunities for members of the Gap Chapter of the Navajo Nation. The ATVO manages the vending operation at this site. Vendors rent table space from the ATVO. Profits from the table rentals are used to cover operation expenses and to provide educational scholarships of funerary assistance to Chapter members. The ATVO is authorized to vend at this location through a special- use permit issued by the North Kaibab Ranger District, Kaibab National Forest. The North Kaibab Ranger District is located withing the aboriginal homelands of the Kaibab band of Piaute Indians, whose resrvation lies just west of the Fredonia, Arizona.
